What we know about you, and what we don't.

Short answer: almost nothing. You don't make an account to use this site, and the simulators don't send anything anywhere. The longer answer is below, and it's written to be read, not to cover anyone's back.

No accounts, ever

There's no sign-up, no login, no password, no profile. You never tell us your name or your email just to read a page or play with a simulator. There's nothing to forget and nothing for us to lose.

The simulators stay in your browser

Every plate on this site runs entirely on your own device. When you drag a slider or pull a pulley, that's your computer doing the maths, not a server somewhere. Nothing you do with a simulator is recorded, sent off, or saved. Close the tab and it's gone.

What Google Analytics counts

We use Google Analytics 4 to get a rough sense of which pages people read and which ones nobody finds. It tells us things like which page was viewed, where the visit came from, and roughly what part of the world it was in. It's anonymous and it's there to help us decide what to build next, not to follow you around.

We don't sell this data, and we don't trade it away. If you'd rather not be counted at all, a content blocker like uBlock Origin stops Analytics cold, and the site keeps working exactly the same.

No ads, right now

The site currently carries no advertising: no ad network loads, and no advertising cookies are set. The only third-party request on a normal page is Google Analytics, described above. If we ever add ads we'll update this page first and spell out plainly what runs and what it means for you — including, since much of this is written for children, treating any ads on kid-aimed pages as child-directed (no personalised tracking).

Questions about any of this

If something here is unclear, or you want to ask about how your data is handled, the contact page is the place to start. Real questions get real answers.
